On Remembrance Day it was a privileged and honour to be supporting the new “UK Afghanistan Veterans Community” (AVC) with comms and media support.
I’ve helped the AVC in their development (from insight gathering to strategy), so it was a proud moment to see the cohort of Afghanistan veterans parading for the first time past the Cenotaph. With their distinct sandy shemaghs, led by General Sir Patrick Sanders.
Congratulations to Jonny Ball VR and Lt Col Matt Mallett MBE on bringing this new charity to the fore, and I look forward to seeing your progress in future!
You can find out more about the AVC and joing the communuty via their Facebook page. Or join them on LinkedIn here.
