So… I have something to share.
I’ve been keeping this under wraps for a long time, waiting for the right moment to let you know.
With it being Armed Forces Week, now feels like the best time to share.
Serving as an Army Reservist for the past 16 years has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. It has shaped who I am, introduced me to extraordinary people, and reinforced this strong belief:
That passion for shining a light on overlooked stories first led me into journalism and community activism. Since then, whether through military history or commemoration, I’ve seen how powerful those stories can be.
They don’t just honour the past but inspire others to make a difference.
I’ll be speaking with recipients of UK honours (MBEs, knighthoods etc) whose selfless service has left a lasting impact on their communities and our society.
We’ll go beyond the medal, beyond the title to discover the journeys, challenges and values that define a life of giving.
Because an honour isn’t simply about recognition.
It’s about impact.
And my hope is that these conversations will inspire the next generation of volunteers, leaders, changemakers and community champions.
If you, or someone you know, has a story that deserves to be heard, I’d love to hear from you. Please send me a message.
The first episodes are coming soon…
